Returns and Refunds

At the DLightful Gallery, we showcase and deliver unique artworks crafted with care. Every piece is a one-of-a-kind creation, and we are dedicated to making your purchase experience seamless and enjoyable. We encourage you to review our Refunds and Returns Policy carefully before completing your purchase.

We understand that purchasing artwork is a significant investment. In accordance with Croatian and EU consumer protection laws, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after you or your designated representative takes physical possession of the artwork.

Order Cancellation

You can cancel your order within 14 days, starting from the day you or your designated representative takes physical possession of the artwork. To cancel an order, contact us at hello@dlightfulservices.com within the cancellation period with a clear statement of your decision. Considering the need for careful handling of artwork during transportation, we will organize the return process accordingly.

When returning artwork, you must include the receipt or proof of purchase.

Returns Due to Issues with the Artwork

If you need to return an artwork due to defects, damage, or other issues, we may request photographs of the packaging upon delivery and the artwork after unpacking to document and verify the issue.

Return Conditions

The Artwork must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the cancellation date.

Returned artworks must be in their original condition, undamaged, and in a state suitable for resale.

If the artwork is damaged, altered, or diminished in value due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the artwork, we may deduct an appropriate amount from the refund.

Important Exceptions

In accordance with Croatian and EU consumer protection laws, the right to cancel the order and get a refund does NOT apply to:

  • Artworks that are made according to your specifications or clearly personalized.
  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if unsealed after delivery.
  • Goods which, after delivery, by their nature are inseparably mixed with other items.

Costs of Returns

The buyer is responsible for the direct costs incurred in returning the artwork.

Refund Process

We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned artwork or until you provide evidence of having sent back the artwork, whichever comes first.

Once received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 14 days.

Refunds will be issued via the same payment method and to the same account used for the original purchase.

We will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (except for any additional costs arising from your choice of delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer).

The refund amount will exclude return shipping costs.

Damaged or Defective Artwork

If you receive an artwork that is damaged, defective, or not as described, we will work to resolve the issue promptly.

  1. Inspect Upon Delivery: If the package shows signs of tampering or damage upon arrival, please refuse to accept it and return it to the delivery person. It is crucial that you take photographs of the damaged package or artwork!
  2. Report the Issue: Email us at hello@dlightfulservices.com within three days of receiving the item. Include:
  • Your Order ID
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos of the damaged or defective artwork
  1. Resolution: Upon receiving your report, we will inspect the issue and aim to resolve it within seven business days. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, repair, or refund.
