What is graphic design?
Graphic design encompasses so much more than just making graphics.
Although it does include designing various visuals – from the smallest such as labels and business cards to large projects such as designing books and company brand identities – it also includes a dialogue with the client.
The graphic designer’s job is also to talk to the client so they can arrive at the best solution – together. Then, they start sketching and making the final design based on these sketches.
If needed, the graphic designer also provides instructions to printers and others who will be involved in making the design reality.
