Visual identity of the Sutivan summer 2023

In design, both aesthetics and functionality are essential. Therefore, when conceptualizing the visual identity and overall materials for the Sutivan Summer 2023 for the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Sutivan, we had in mind the practical, everyday use of the materials by tourists who would visit Sutivan, as well as the specific branding of this town.

For the Sutivan Summer 2023, we designed the following:

• a brochure (in Croatian and English – we also handled the translation)
• a tourist map (also for later use) with translations of texts into English
• a double-sided citylight

When creating the brochure and citylight, we ensured the readability of the program, which needed to be clearly presented by event categories with precise dates and times.

The Sutivan map presented a challenge due to the numerous landmarks and key points in Sutivan that needed to be accurately depicted on the map. The map was ultimately made to the correct scale, with locations indicated on the map and within the legend (grouped by colors), and the back of the map utilized to display the center of Sutivan in a larger scale with textual descriptions of key landmarks. During the printing of the map, its purpose was considered so that the paper would be durable and, as much as possible, waterproof.
